This week in Pebbles we have enjoyed trying to recognise our name! We have been on hunts for our name cards, looked at the sounds our names begin with, and had a go at making them either with playdough or by copying them.
We have focused on our gross motor skills, and these make our arms big and strong to help our fingers hold our pencils. We have been stretching and dancing, and using the chalk board or water and paintbrushes to stretch our shoulder muscles high and low to make lines and circles.
As it was road safety week, our new traffic lights, speed cameras and zebra crossings have been used and our grown ups have spoken to us about the need to be careful near roads, remaining with adults. We took the bikes onto the big playground to practice our listening skills and to show how sensible we have learnt to be crossing the road!
Monday is our first parent orientation sessions for those children who attend in the mornings and afternoons - we can't wait to have you join in with us.
Enjoy your weekend :)
