Welcome back to 2020 and the start of Term 3!
Pebbles are exploring the world of Dinosaurs and The Ice Age this term - we began by looking at Dinosaurs and shape.
Naomi drew a large dinosaur footprint with us outside and this allowed us all to investigate size, using lots of language and imagination as we drew around our own footprint for comparison. Outside we also used the blocks or magnetic shapes to construct Dino enclosures together and tried to strengthen our gross motor and balance with the large foam Dino feet.
The inside classroom was busy as we created our own 2D shape dinosaurs or made a paper plate creation. We had to talk to the grown ups to tell them about our shapes and what our dinosaurs were or could be doing. These are now on display, so please make sure you take a look at our fantastic efforts!
The tuff tray has provided lots of turn taking as we play and use our imaginations with the dinosaurs, along with the playdough.
We hope everyone has enjoyed a busy week back, see you all on Monday!
