Pebbles have been thinking this week all about animals we may find in the Zoo ready for our trip to Wingham Wildlife Park on Monday 22nd July!
We have used the School hall to grow big and tall like giraffes, stomp like heavy elephants, roar fiercely like lions and slither low like snakes.
Our fine motor skills were tested as we tried our hardest to paint then thread string through boxes to make our very own small world animal zoo cage. We put these on display in our role play so we could use them with our friends.
We also practiced building with the blocks, making our own animal enclosures big enough to fit a Pebble inside, and have used describing words to explain pictures of our zoo animal drawings.
Of course every trip to the Zoo wouldn't be complete without ice cream, so we have used the shaving foam and food colouring this week to explore and create our very own sensory ice creams!
We can't believe our year is almost over, thankyou to everyone who attended Parents evening - it was wonderful to speak with so many of you and celebrate how far your Pebble has come this year.
Have a lovely weekend :)
