It has been a very busy week in Pebbles this week as we looked at the changes which Spring can bring to us! We used our fine motor skills to copy pictures of trees with blossom by using pink paint and cotton buds and talking about the changes which we could see. Outside in the soil we have been getting messy planting seeds or artificial flowers - the grown ups were very impressed to hear us talking to one another independently about what they needed to grow.
Naomi helped us to use pipe cleaners and tissue paper to make our very own spring tulips or daffodils, and this provided much excitement as we discussed the different lengths and features.
Thursday was World Book Day, and we all dressed up as our favourite book character. We tried to draw our favourite book cover and loved describing characters and events.
Also this week, Neil Castle, Chair of Pebbles Academy Board came in to see us and congratulate the children and staff on our Ofsted Inspection. Miss Lowe tried very hard to take a photograph of us and forgot how difficult it was to get adults and children alike to pose at the same time!
Have a lovely weekend everyone 🙂
